The Technical Support Professional serves as the key technical point of contact for inside and enterprise sales groups.  The Technical Support Professional works in a consultative role to assist in the successful closings of new deals and repeat purchases by performing pre-sales support and on-site demonstrations to prospective customers.  The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background. Experience in solution selling and other enterprise sales skills is not required; however, the candidate must be comfortable working with the sales team and client prospects.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Present and demonstrate product offerings tailored to customer objectives remotely and on-site
  • Provide proactive support to prospective clients
  • Become an expert in the features, benefits of applications
  • Communicate with prospective customers assisting and guiding through the evaluation and selection process
  • Deliver web-based training sessions for clients
  • Act as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
  • Propose and/or design technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept
  • Align product line to provide a comprehensive solution that satisfies the customer’s business needs
  • Working knowledge of software integration using Microsoft Windows Server technologies
  • Backup the technical support team as needed

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree is required
  •  5 to 10 years of technical experience; SharePoint, web server (IIS preferred) or database (SQL preferred) experience. (Sales Support Experience is not required)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High level of customer service ability
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team setting
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
