Systems Manager/Systems Integration Manager

Parsons has the people and power to move the world. Systems Manager/Systems Integration Manager needed in New York to support several rail CBTC projects in New York, California, and internationally. The applicant must have experience with CBTC technologies as well as the implementation of systems engineering approaches on rail projects. This includes demonstrated knowledge of the application of several systems engineering processes in a typical rail transit project life cycle, from systems architecture development, design decomposition and integration, construction, to design verification and validation through a robust test program. The applicant shall possess the leadership and communications skills to lead a team of systems engineers, discipline engineers, and package managers with minimum supervision.
The applicant must have experience with the design and construction of systems in a rail transit environment, including rail vehicles, automatic train control systems, communications systems, control systems, and the integration of rail transit vehicles. The applicant must also be familiar with the integration of specifications, engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
A minimum 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and at least 15 years of experience is required. A broad general engineering background and previous systems engineering experience on large transit projects is required.
