Sr Systems Manager *

The MSS Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for managing business controls and systems within the MSS organization that directly impact acquired business and customers from the inCode asset acquisition in November 2010. Responsible for an integrated view of new and acquired business including financial performance reporting, budget controls, resource utilization reporting, operational accounting for billings, deferred revenues, multi-element contract accounting. Coordination and oversight with AT&T Finance, Revenue Assurance, Supply Chain and Taxation sub-teams on group transactional support including revenue assurance working papers, revenue recognition policies for deferred revenues, multi-element contracts, and professional services engagements.

The primary role of this position is as team expert on the systems and customers acquired through the acquisition of inCode’s mobility Professional Services business in November 2010. The position requires business experience to ensure continued levels of high operational quality and customer satisfaction. To be successful requires senior-level experience in managing business and financial controls; ERP software systems (InCode’s Great Plains Microsoft SQL system and Oracle), Professional Services Automation software (Changepoint), sales order management (Custom portal acquired from inCode).

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years progressive experience with systems below.

· Proven track record in ownership and management of financial reporting systems– Professional services automation, ERP platforms, electronic order platforms, Business Integration tools.

· Experience in managing revenue recognition policies, preferably in the technology industry utilizing GAAP guidance such as SOP-97, EITF 00-21

· Training experience in Professional Services Automation and ERP systems

· Expert-level Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookup, financial modeling.

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Advanced Degree (Master’s/Doctorate) in Business/Finance strongly preferred

· Client-side management of multiple GAAP and tax audits

· Business process review and re-engineering

· Federal tax credit application for software development projects
