We are seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator/Engineer for our Melville, NY office.
Responsibilities include: * Database design and generation of queries as required to support the business * Generation of stored procedures when required * Maintenance of databases * Monitoring of database performance * Troubleshooting and optimizing out performance issues * Availability on an emergency basis to support operations if there is a failure in the database Basic Qualifications: * Must have a BA or 7yrs SQL database experience. * Experience in SQL Server 2005, 2008R2, and IIS6.0 * Working knowledge of DNS and SSL is required
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Windows 2008 environment and e commerce is preferred * This candidate will be customer centric and have strong communication skills, and be an integrative thinker. * Experience in Backup/recovery, database performance tuning and monitoring * Experience in Installation of SQL and multi node clusters * Working knowledge of IIS 6.0 and above * Experience with Website provisioinning * Experience in Windows 2008 r2 environment, DNS, SSL * Working knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS a plus
