Job Summary: C# Application Engineer
As a Desktop Software Engineer at Voyetra Turtle Beach, you'll be required to function in a fast-paced environment with high degrees of autonomy and diversity, and a correspondingly high level of responsibility. As such your primarily responsibility will encompass the complete design lifecycle for our desktop software tools, in support of our state-of-the-art audio products, including (but not limited to) the concept, design, development, implementation and maintenance of desktop software and tool chains for production and test.
Responsibilities Include:
Ø Design, implementation of desktop programs for ancillary support of our audio products, in both a consumer marketplace, and test and production environments.
Ø Plan and implement experimental desktop test programs to verify firmware or hardware operation.
Ø Create specifications, ECNs and perform necessary design change support
Ø Write reports, design documents, proposals and other documents as required
Ø Perform design verification testing and analysis to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications
Ø Support manufacturing and test groups as needed
Ø Analyze data to determine feasibility of new technologies and product designs
Ø R&D of new technologies, including proof-of-concept
Ø Perform version control and documentation of firmware and software
Ø Participate in internal design reviews to ensure accurate and timely completion of designs and documentation
Ø Work efficiently and effectively within a highly integrated team environment including other software and hardware engineers

Requirements:
Required Skill Sets and Experience:
* At least 3 years of C# programming experience and CLR
* Significant hands-on recent development experience with .NET 3.0 (or better) Winforms
* Implementation of IO and streams
* Real-time, multi-threading experience
* Experience with Object Oriented methodology
* Building/Using Client Frameworks/containers
* Fundamental grasp and usage of templates and generics
* Solid understanding of GUI best practices
* Rock solid debugging skills for both pure desktop and desktop embedded device configurations.
* Basic install procedures and configurations ( InstallSheild preferred)
* BS or greater in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
* Proven project management skills
* Excellent documentation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Must be independent and self-motivated, with strong analytical skills and creative thinking
* Valid US Work Authorization Required.
