One of the world's leading providers of professional information and consulting services within the aviation industry is looking to add a senior sales representative to their team.
Reporting to the VP, Business Development and Strategy, you will develop business with key clients from the financial services sector, especially in the New York area. It is essential to have thorough knowledge of business operations in the investment banks in order to communicate with C-level decision makers. You will develop a sales network by conducting business development calls and arranging client meetings in addition to managing short and long term sales cycles through to completion. Your primary focus will be selling Business Information and Consulting at different steps along the value chain.
Their assignments stem from listening to, and most importantly, understanding the customer’s businesses. Building exceptional relationships will be key to being succesful in this role. Essential
3 to 7+ years of experience in data / business information and analytics sales
Sales background in online financial services provider highly preferred (selling data subscriptions)
Outstanding verbal and written Communications skills, Spanish is a plus
Very strong communications skills, self motivation with energy and ambition
Proven track record in creating and managing a new business pipeline essential
Majority of experience in financial services sector / Excellent knowledge of business operations within investment banks
Have led or supported a Consulting sales process
Experience or desire to work in a small business / entrepreneurial environment
