The Senior Manager of Talent Relations is responsible for the procurement of all sports and sports related appearances for our company's sports radio channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Booking and Appearance Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Book significant and relevant athletes, coaches, and sports personalities for interviews and appearances on various sports and talk channels; work across all talk and music channels to cross-promote talent
Work directly with programmers in sports to identify talent needs on a daily, monthly and annual basis
Manage, liaison and coordinate bookings with management, programming and engineering departments
Maintain, nurture and cultivate relationships within all relevant sports communities to attract key talent and create further awareness of our company sports content offerings
Prepare for and create the ultimate "talent" experience: meet, greet and take care of talent while they are at our company.

Minimum Qualifications:
Four year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in talent relations, with expertise in sports or a sports related field
Requirements and General Skills:
Strong relationships with sports talent and management agencies, sports PR firms and Major League Team Front Offices
Solid client rolodex and network across all areas of sports
In-depth knowledge of national and local sports arenas, sports pop culture and sports icons; working knowledge of music and talk radio
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent influence and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Comfortable working with high profile talent, personalities and creative individuals
Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast paced business environment
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
