ARDE' a division of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, is a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of aerospace pressure vessels. Come and join our staff as a Senior Engineering Analyst.
The Senior Engineering Analyst position for ARDE reports to the General Manager and is responsible for structural and metallurgical analysis of metal and composite overwrap pressure vessels. Core expertise in structural analysis and metallurgy are essential to the position as are strong written and communication skills.
Structural analysis failure criteria are developed internally and are often non-conventional in nature and aggressive, as compared to methods and databases used in more traditional applications such as airframe design.
The position requires the ability to review high level performance requirements and develop engineered solutions in the form of component and subsystems.
This position is located in Carlstadt, NJ.

MA/MS degree with 4-7+ years experience
Experience in other disciplines such as heat transfer and fluid mechanics is a plus, as is working knowledge in the design and buildup of liquid propulsion feed systems.
Candidate must have a good understanding of how programs, engineering, quality and manufacturing work cohesively in a small company environment in short cycle development, qualification and production build cycles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
The product requires an extreme level of documentation based on criticality of application.
The ability and willingness to rigorously evaluate and accurately and concisely convey results in oral and written form are critical to the position.
Position requires a demonstrated ability to develop strong teaming relationship.
