The Senior Acq Editor builds partnerships and business relationships with other content providers in order to acquire content for multimedia titles or online products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate ectly supervises one employee with the possibility for further editorial management. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 5 plus years of textbook publishing experience required.
