P&C Insurance Legal Assistant - Atlanta or New York City #3524
The legal department of this growing Property Casualty Insurance carrier is looking for a Legal Assistant to manage its company licensing and perform other duties associated with regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions:
Maintain corporate legal records for 4 entities
Manage annual requirements spreadsheet for the companies
Assist in UCAA company licensing
Responsible for renewing and maintaining licenses for 3 entities in most of the states
Manage annual regulatory mailings
Collaborate with different departments and gather materials to create and distribute the quarterly Board of Directors meeting presentation booklets.
Perform administrative tasks for the department including: managing department incoming and outgoing mail, and creating and typing memos and correspondence
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
A. S. degree and/or paralegal certification preferred
Computer literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Database experience
Regulatory compliance or licensing experience for a property casualty insurer a plus
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
