Position Responsibilities
In this organizational role, the ideal candidate will provide systems level support to internal customers, maintain asset inventory, perform systems configuration and administration, and provide operational support to both the department and the enterprise. To be successful in this role, the candidate will possess strong interpersonal, administrative, and telephone support skills, be able to multitask, and will have served in a similar role in the past. Candidate should possess a strong desire to provide excellent customer service, be able to work independently and with others, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Additionally the Ideal candidate will assist in capacity planning for infrastructure and space requirements.
Responsibilities:
. Mange VMware environment including capacity planning. . Enterprise network administration, configurations and planning. . Provide desk-side, telephone, and remote user support. .Manage user accounts for AD network access, remote access, e-mail, and applications. . Update and maintain the systems hardware and software license inventory. . Collect and distribute systems management and audit reports. Position Requirements
Required Skills:
. Expert knowledge of systems administration, policy development, script development and information systems best practices. . Uses superior customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. . Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience providing end user support and network administration in a Windows network environment. . Expert with system administration, workstation support, Internet connectivity and backend application support. . Advanced knowledge of MS SQL 2000/2005 and other DB applications. . Microsoft Active Directory administration with advanced Policy/Scripting . MCSE, MCP, A+ Certification or other related certifications. . VMware a must ESX 3.x VMotion . Citrix
