Bedrocket is a next generation media company that builds and operates branded video networks for the multi-platform world. We are launching 4 new channels in early 2012 encompassing comedy, fashion, action sports, and soccer. We are looking for an intern living in NYC to join our team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with all aspects of our business and be a part of an early-stage tech startup that is fast growing.
Candidate must possess extremely sharp critical thinking skills and be capable of pulling together large amounts of data to be presented internally to the rest of the team. The right candidate will have a 'get it done' mentality as well as a strong history of thinking strategically and outside the box.
Requirements: -Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about and connected with the ever changing world of digital media. They are immersed in online entertainment, and can help find/evaluate up and coming talent. -All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs. Added bonus if you're comfortable with a camera, Final Cut Pro or have production experience. -This internship is for college credit only and requires a commitment of a least 2 full days a week. -Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills -Deep understanding of new technologies being introduced to the marketplace
