Description:
Fundtech is currently seeking an (Oracle) ERP Project Manager to manage over several initiatives for our organization. This will be a 6+ month contract opportunity (the opportunity could go perm). Immediate start Date. Local Candidates Preferred
Responsibilities:
Investigating, defining and evaluating needs. Planning and writing RFP for the ERP system
Acts at the IT point of contact for projects related to the Oracle application.
Ensure that decisions are consistent with corporate strategies and future expectations for other products and services
Develop, communicate and drive project schedule commitments
Facilitate Change Management decisions and adjust assignments and expectations accordingly
Requirements:
Project Management Skills set:
7 years experience as a highly skilled technical project manager to manage and drive all project efforts including developing project team task and activity lists
Preparation of RFP and managing responses including the selection process
At least 7 years’ experience implementing accounting and finance, Project , HR and CRM solutions in an ERP environment such as Oracle
Ability to establish rapport, solid working relationships with the project team and the business management
Flexibility and the ability to drive projects through to completion is a must
Experience managing complex cross functional projects and service delivery cycles
Very strong written and verbal communication and excellent leadership skills are required
Experience with all phases of software product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and have the ability to allocate appropriate resources
Demonstrated successful history of working with cross-functional departments and work teams to re-design processes and roadmaps
Comfortable presenting and motivating large groups
Ability to objectively/accurately forecast, and map intersections between processes
