Director, mHealth Product Managment
• Eight to ten years product management, product marketing, or performance improvement experience with a company providing telecare, telehealth, video conferencing, remote disease management, or sophisticated hardware-software solutions to providers or payers, or
• Eight to ten years experience providing clinical oversight and leading product development teams implementing chronic disease management programs including: diabetes, heart failure and hypertension.
• Eight plus years experience in a Provider (hospital) setting treating diabetes or heart disease, administering programs for these diseases, and/or implementing remote care as a physician, a licensed nurse, or similar, or
• Eight plus years Payer (Health insurance) experience, with at least 5 years experience in decision-making with respect to telehealth or remote disease management solutions
• 2 years Principal-level (8 years overall) experience in a major healthcare management consulting practice
• Proven ability to create a standardized framework to measure outcomes of programs and build an evidence base for Verizon Remote Care Management products and Services.
• Must be comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior level management and across a diverse product team
• Product launch and lifecycle management experience; 3 years leading a group of >7 product managers would be ideal
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers in other functional areas without a direct reporting relationship
• Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment

• Able to teach others key product management skills such as requirements generation, business case assumptions, definition of features and benefits, and contract negotiations

• BS or BA in a relevant field. MBA and MD neededThis position will be responsible for leading a group of >10 product management staff in the development, piloting, and launch of Verizon Wireless' mHealth services.
• Oversee the development and management of the mHealth product strategy, roadmap and launch plans, including new products, new solutions, new features, as well as product retirement and technology evolution
• Oversee the successful development of new products and solutions
• Provide guidance to the product management team on how to determine customer needs, wants, and jobs-to-get done. Ensure that that information is used to define products and solutions.
• Ensure the development of grounded business cases for new product and solution development
• Lead, at the Director level, business and technology stakeholder teams through the full product development cycle
• Ensure the tracking of mHealth revenue, margin, and technical performance of the product portfolio, and instigate remedial action where necessary
• Collaborate with peers in development of an overall mHealth ROI tool that spans all mHealth solutions
• Represent Verizon Wireless mHealth solution at events, conferences and tradeshows to support the solution's goals and to generate leads
• Represent the mHealth solutions at Verizon Wireless and vendor executive briefings
• Participate in sales webinars to drive product awareness
• Ensure collaboration with Verizon Business Healthcare solution to create integrated Healthcare solutions as appropriate
• Ensure that the product managers conduct regular, recurring assessment of customer needs, market sensing, business drivers, and emerging technology trends to guide ongoing solution evolution and execution
• Lead coordination, as needed, of 3rd-party business relationships /discussions with solution and component vendors
• Ensure proper communication of legal & regulatory requirements for solutions so offer maintains necessary compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FDA)
• Ensure a good understanding of competitors and competitive offerings and substitutes and reflect that understanding in the product strategy
• Lead the establishment of key vendor relationships
