You MUST have the following to apply: Still need 2-3 people on this team as of 5-18-2012 - NEED 2 Managers and 2 Sr. Associates. This team is exploding with growth!
- Limited travel if you base out of Chicago, NYC, Boston or Sillicon Valley (if not then be willing to travel 75%)
- You must have recent experience with a Tier 1, 2 or 3 consulting firm.
- Deep experience and understanding of the financial services vertical to include: Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and Asset Management sectors
- You must be a US Citizen or US Resident
Deliver Disaster Recovery (DR), Operational Continuity and general IT infrastructure engagements at Fortune 500 organizations.
Project work may include developing IT strategy for BCP and DR, evaluating the technical DR capabilities of an IT infrastructure, recommending a reference architecture for DR, developing the mitigation plan to improve DR capabilities, and developing & implementing a DR Plan.
THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE THE FOLLOWING:
• Participate in project teams to deliver Disaster Recovery solutions in short timeframes
• Participate in the development of client recommendations in terms of BCP and DR strategy, DR maturity assessment, DR reference architecture, DR plan development and implementation.
• Participate in engagements focused on deploying and maintaining the DR plan for a limited time.
• Support the creation of proposals, RFP response documents, and statements of work
• Provide hands-on expertise around Disaster Recovery such as:
o Performs risk analysis for IT infrastructure functional areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommends disaster avoidance and reduction strategies
o Assures records required for disaster recovery area are identified and properly maintained
o Confirms all systems and applications are properly categorized through the Business Continuity (BC) process and ensures proper and respective Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are applied and achieved
o Analyzes and reports on implications of regulatory requirements and industry guidance on DR programs
