Associate Director of Public Relations
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, high-energy, organized, an excellent and experienced writer and able to support cross-functional coordination in a fast pace environment and possess excellent judgment. He/she will report to the Chief College Relations Officer to provide concepts that effectively reflect communication strategies.
Responsibilities: * Develop and prepare communication materials including but not limited to reports, presentations, traditional speeches, media advisories, press releases and web content; * Carry out various media relations activities: maintain contact and distribution lists, develop and track editorial calendars, field calls, monitor coverage; * Conduct interviews; * Provide project coordination; * Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner * Other duties as assigned.
