***Full Time*** Community Events is Connecticuts premier marketing firm and we are now seeking 3-5 representatives to assist in the promotions of our marketing campaigns. These are entry-level marketing positions that offer a high potential for growth. We offer in-house training that is fully paid. We sponsor events for the racing and automotive industry from small to large scale. Individuals who apply must have professionalism, great interpersonal skills and be ready to work in a fast paced environment.
We work with elite clients and are seeking individuals with prior experience in marketing, pr, advertising, customer service or events. Candidates with experience in administration, retail, restaurant or hospitality will also be considered.
Automotive Safety Campaigns
With the high price of gas and the ever looming recession at hand, we offer a money saving campaign for automotive safety. We work with local insurance companies to create a Safety Promotional Day to inform drivers as to what they can do to enhance their vehicle to be safer on the road and offer the solution to a repair, in most instances no cost to the auto owner. Offering inventive new forms of marketing and innovative ideas for promoting a client in a way that benefits the consumer as well, is our specialty and has put us into the drivers seat on the road to success.
******Winter Internships******* Community Events is seeking a couple of eager minded and ambitious college students to assist with winter programs. Requirements:
-Experience in at least 1 of the following promotions, events, retail, restaurant, hospitality, marketing, OR advertising -Strong personal organization, time management, and dependability -Must be comfortable approaching and interacting with all kinds of people - Ability to show initiative and self manage - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Professional image and high level of integrity - Degree preferred but not required - Proven leadership skills -Available M-F during daytime/working hours -Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license -Self motivated, organized and able to meet deadlines. -Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects with attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS (Must meet at least 3 requirements) -Great Interpersonal Skills- public speaking/ presentation experience -Enthusiastic and outgoing personality- adaptable to different atmospheres -Candidates will be able to work and fast paced and competitive environments -Can work independently and think autonomously -Can work in teams -Has experience in one of the following areas: restaurant, retail, customer service, administration, volunteer experience -Has ANY type of event experience from setup and maintenance of event to actually working or hosting event -Serious about career and growth within a company -Has a college degree or is actively pursuing one -Educated in: communications, marketing, advertising, pr, business administration
