GMAC Financial Services is a global finance company operating in and servicing North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. GMAC specializes in automotive finance, real estate finance, insurance, commercial finance and online banking. SUMMARY OVERVIEW: The Treasury Reporting Manager will be responsible for supporting Executive Office and Asset Liability Management within GMAC Treasury. The focus of the position will be on building, maintaining and upgrading processes, controls, procedures and reporting. This position will play a key role in refining/developing processes to reduce overall preparation time in order to generate meaningful executive level analysis and reporting. The Treasury Reporting Manager position will be involved as a secondary point for several work streams to alleviate key operational risk which currently exist within Treasury Reporting and Analysis. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting: Lead the creation, development and maintenance of timely and accurate treasury and balance sheet management reporting. Strict attention to detail and the ability to distill complex information into succinct executive summaries. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Project Management: Create targeted /strategic project teams of constituents and key stakeholders from throughout the organization focused on creating and delivering dependable and repeatable processes. Process Management: Develop and continuously improve processes, routines and discipline around the delivery of executive level reporting for GMAC. Collaborative / Communication: The candidate must work well with diverse teams and communicate well with all levels of the organization. Ability to work well with Teams is vital and a polished non confrontational style is essential. Staff Development: Ability to lead, guide and develop junior analysts on team. Ad Hoc: Support ad hoc requests from Balance Sheet Management Executive and Business Support Executive on an as-needed basis.
Minimum:
Typically 5 – 7 years reporting and analysis or directly related financial experience Six Sigma experience is a big plus (green belt minimum) Must have successful project management experience Strong knowledge of borrowing and investing strategies Working knowledge of capital markets, corporate finance, mortgage industry products and asset-backed securities Working knowledge of debt structures Strong graphical and presentation skills
